Person dies in early morning accident

SECUNDA – A head-on collision in Ext 22 this morning at approximately 3.40am claimed the life of one person and left two others seriously injured.

Mr Shayne van den Heever from Langamed South Ambulance Service said the accident happened at the robot at the P185 and Trichardt Road intersection.

Two cars were involved.

The driver of the one car died and the passenger was critically injured.

The third passenger sustained minor injuries.

The other car’s driver sustained serious injuries.

The cause of the accident seems to be high impact speed related.

All patients were transported to local hospitals.
