LEBOHANG – The father of the eight-year-old girl who was electrocuted when she touched a light pole, is still waiting for answers from the Govan Mbeki Municipality.
The young girl died on her way to hospital after she had touched the street light pole while playing with other children in the street on Wednesday, 10 August.
The electricity flow to the pole has since been switched off by the municipality.
Mr Charlie Jacobs, the girl’s father, said the last comment or statement he had received from the municipality, was that they are still investigating the case.
The newspaper asked the municipality for comment on the outcome of the investigation, but they did not respond.
