A motorist spray painted a pothole in Beyers Naudé Street on 3 October to alert other motorists after it allegedly damaged one of the rims of his vehicle.
According to him, he had the same experience at the same pothole in the past.
“I spent a lot of money fixing the damages on my vehicle before and do not want other drivers to go through the same trouble,” he said.
He also said the Lekwa Municipality must repair the roads before more vehicles get damaged.
The municipality admitted that it is their responsibility to repair the roads.
