Body found in river

A case of murder was opened by the police.

eMBALENHLE – The body of man believed to be in his late 20s, was found in Wela’s River on Saturday, 8 October.

It was seen by passers-by who alerted the police.

The police noticed blood stains leading to the river and police divers retrieved the body.

The man sustained three stab wounds in the chest.

“It looked as though he was stabbed with a very sharp object.

“We urge residents to avoid walking at night.

“Such case are difficult because there is no one to give any information.

“However we will continue with the investigation.”
