
The Lekwa municipal employees’ case was postponed to 14 January next year for trial.
The seven employees facing charges of intimidation, malicious damage to property and contempt of court appeared in the Standerton Regional Court on 13 October.
Mr Linda Tshabalala, Lekwa municipal manager, laid the charges after some of the South African Municipal Workers Union (Samwu) members escorted him out of the Lekwa municipal building.
The employees apparently disrupted a management meeting earlier that day.
