eMBALENHLE – A 60-year-old man was arrested for dealing in drugs in Mandela Section.
This came after the police received a tip off that residents were selling drugs in the area.
Police responded and on arrival found the suspect in his house and they asked to search his house.
They found 260 pieces of Nyaope and dagga wrapped in packages.
The total value of the confiscated substances is estimated at more than R9 000.
Capt Magonseni Nkosi, police spokesmen, said the police appreciated the information received from the community and encourage others to follow suit.
The suspect is expected to appear in the Evander Magistrate’s Court.
