DA wishes grade 12’s good luck

“The DA acknowledges all Grade 12 teachers and principals who have dedicated their time and energy to ensure that pupils are ready for these exams."

HIGHVELD – In a Democratic Alliance press statement by Ms Jane Sithole, Mpumalanga spokesman for education, the DA wished the class of 2016 well as they begin their final examinations.

The national certificate exams are from 24 October until 29 November.

These represent 12 years of hard work and dedication and will see 60 764 full time pupils and 7 038 part time candidates across the province write their final examinations.

“The DA acknowledges all Grade 12 teachers and principals who have dedicated their time and energy to ensure that pupils are ready for these exams.

“We also recognise the role their parents and families play in the run up to and during the exam period.

“Their love and support during this crucial time will relieve much of the stress and anxiety that this type of situation creates and it is appreciated.

“The Mpumalanga Grade 12 pass rate has been on a steady increase for a number of years, but took a slight dip last year.

“We hope that the pass rate will begin to rise once again this year.

“Good luck to the class of 2016, may this be a successful examination period for all as you continue to make Mpumalanga proud.”
