Mr Majaji Motaung, the tavern owner that allegedly gunned down the late Mr Jabulani Mosia at Emoyeni Tavern is expected to appear in the Standerton Regional Court on 10 November.
Mr Mosia was shot after a fight broke out between him and the security guard at the tavern on 5 March.
Four men took him to the Standerton Hospital in a private vehicle after the incident occurred.
According to the police, a nurse at the hospital declared him dead before the police arrived at the hospital.
They confirmed that he only had one gunshot wound to the left side of his stomach.
The suspect appeared in the Standerton Magistrate’s Court on 11 March and was granted R1 000 bail.
Mr Mosia was laid to rest on 12 March.
Mr Motaung is currently facing a murder charge.
