EVANDER – A 23-year-old old man was arrested for the possession of dagga to the value of R2000.
Police received a tip off about a man selling dagga from a house in Evander.
Crime Prevention members searched the house and found plastic bags containing dagga stashed inside an old car parked inside the yard.
When questioned about the items found, the man could not respond and was arrested.
He is currently in police custody and will remain there until his court hearing on charges regarding possession of dagga.
