Thieves recently broke into a house while the owner was at work and stole electrical appliances.
According to the police statement, the complainant’s mother informed her about the break-in.
The complainant said she immediately left work and went home after receiving the call.
According to her, she noticed that the door was forced open with an unknown object upon arrival.
When she entered the house she discovered that some of her belongings were stolen.
The goods include a DVD system worth R2 500, a microwave worth R4 000, a kettle worth R3 00 and meat from the fridge.
A case of housebreaking and theft has been opened.
