Four passengers injured in accident

All four of them were admitted to the Standerton Hospital

Four passengers were injured after two vehicles collided at the R23 and Robertsdrift Road intersection on 19 November.

According to local firefighters, a light-duty truck transporting blankets was travelling on the R23 to KwaZulu Natal and a BMW was travelling on the Robertsdrift Road towards the R23.

The firefighters alleged that the driver of the BMW failed to stop at the intersection

There were three passengers in the truck, driven by Mr William Khuzwayo, and four passengers in the BMW, driven by Mr Elvis Chauke.

The firefighters confirmed that four people sustained injuries in the accident and were admitted to the Standerton Hospital.
