BREAKING NEWS: Eskom will allegedly proceed with interruptions

According to the letter, they considered all written representation, comments and submissions received, stating the negative effect the contemplated interruptions is likely to have on residents and businesses.

According to a letter that was allegedly sent to Ms Thabitha Matladi, acting municipal manager of Lekwa Municipality, Eskom has decided to proceed with the contemplated electricity interruptions that will begin on 23 January.

This comes after a notice was published in November last year.

According to the letter, they considered all written representation, comments and submissions received, stating the negative effect the contemplated interruptions is likely to have on residents and businesses.

The interruptions will result in temporary scheduled disconnection at the following times:

Monday to Friday

• 6am – 8am

• 5pm – 7.30pm

Saturday and Sunday

• 8.30am – 11am

• 3pm – 5.30pm
