MPUMALANGA – Five suspects appeared before Bethal Magistrate Court for conspiracy to commit murder and the possession of unlicensed firearms.
Two of the suspects, Bonginkosi Excellent Mnisi(33) and Dunisani Sambo (46) were denied bail and remained in custody.
The third suspect, a woman, Nomalanga Khumalo(49) was granted R30 000 bail but she failed to bail herself out.
The case against the other two suspects was withdrawn.
Bonginkosi Excellent Mnisi, Dunisani Sambo and Nomalanga Khumalo will remain in custody until Friday, 19 January 2017 where the two suspects will appear for formal bail application.
The investigation is ongoing.
