Three men allegedly kidnapped and robbed another man of his firearm recently.
According to him, he was on his way home when a white VW Golf stopped in front of him.
The complainant said one of the men asked him where his companions were and he told him he was walking alone.
He said they showed him a badge that resembled a police badge and told him to get in the car.
According to him, they drove around Sakhile and said he should show them where his associates were.
He also said they enquired as to what was in his possession and he replied a firearm.
Apparently they took the firearm, saying they wanted to check the serial number.
According to him, one of the men also had a firearm.
The complainant said they eventually dropped him off and drove away, but he managed to walk back home.
He then reported the incident to the Sakhile Police.
Cases of kidnapping and robbery were opened.
