The Sakhile Police opened a case of attempted murder after a man was recently stabbed in Sakhile.
According to the complainant, the man that allegedly stabbed him is known to him.
He said he was watching television when he heard a window in his bedroom breaking.
“I quickly looked through the sitting room window to see who broke it,” the complainant said.
According to him, he saw a man running away and decided to chase him, but could not catch him.
He said the same man attacked him on his way back home.
“He stabbed me in my chest with a knife,” the complainant also said.
The police also opened a case of malicious damage to property.
