eMBALENHLE – A 30-year-old man from Rietspruit near Kriel is expected to appear in the Evander Magistrate’s Court for fraud.
He was arrested after he had tried to buy a refrigerator worth R17 000, a base set and a wall unit costing R9 000 by using a fraudulent payslip, an identify document and a bank statement at a furniture shop.

Preliminary investigations revealed the suspect sourced all the fraudulent documents from two known foreign nationals.
