SECUNDA – Secunda Round Table 232 hosted their black-tie induction dinner on Friday, 24 February at the club house.

The purpose was to award members and to introduce the new committee.

The Travel Boot Award goes to the Tabler who travelled the most during the year for Round Table purposes.

Mr Neville Kotze received this award.

Best attendance went to Mr Carl van Staden and the Tabler of the Year is Mr Anton Pretorius.

The Round Table 231 committee comprises Messrs Kotze, chairman, Pretorius as vice chairman, Christiaan Nel, treasurer, and Van Staden as constitutional advisor.

Mr Kotze said: “Being apart of the Round Table is about fellowship, friendship and fun.

“It is also a business school of life, because you learn so many life lessons.

“You get the support you need when you need it from other Tablers.

“You can sometimes have the best plans, but when you are the chairman and you do not have the support of your Tablers, nothing will be a success.”

Secunda Round Table 231 is planning many community projects for the year and should you like to join Secunda 231, you can contact Mr Kotze at 082 415 5231.
