Blue Heaven and BIC start a new journey

Archbishop Khanyi said he wished people could stay in their churches and stop changing churches for financial gains.

SECUNDA – The leadership of Blue Heaven International Church and Believers in Christ Church (BIC) began a new journey of working together and being good examples within the Zion church.

This came after misconceptions by certain individuals who allegedly wanted to damage the relationship between the two churches.

They met at Kuiersaam Guesthouse in Secunda on Saturday, 25 February after Blue Heaven requested to meet with BIC to clear the air.

Archbishop Elect Petrus Khanyi said he has always respected Archbishop Mshengu Tshabalala, because he is a spiritual and biological father as one of his sister’s mother is a Tshabalala to him.

He praised Archbishop Mshengu for his contribution towards the building of Zion churches.

“What makes me proud, is that I saw your work, listened to your teachings and saw you grooming Zion leaders and all I can say is that you are doing great work,” said Archbishop Khanyi.

He further said he wished people could stay in their churches and stop changing churches for financial gain.

Archbishop Mshengu welcomed the meeting to clear the air and begin a new journey on a clean slate.

He urged Snr Pastor Bongani Ngcobo, previous general secretary for BIC and the current secretary general for Blue Heaven, to stay at Blue Heaven and be loyal to his church.

Archbishop Mshengu added that should it happen that Snr Pastor Ngcobo decides to leave Blue Heaven abruptly, he should not think of returning to BIC because he was raised and taught at BIC to be respectful and loyal.

“God called me to unite Zion, hence I founded Ikhaya le Ziyoni, meaning home of Zion, and this was a healthy meeting,” said Archbishop Mshengu.
