Beware of buying and selling on the Internet

Police advise residents to verify things before buying on the internet.

SECUNDA – Police warned the community to be more careful when they sell or buy things on the Internet.

They said several cases have been reported in the area regarding this.

Capt Bettinah Zondo, police spokesman, said residents need to obtain the full details of the person they are dealing with and must confirm those details.

“They also need to have full details of the items they are buying and must see the items physically before they pay the money.

“It must be an exchange of money and the items.”

Police are still investigating the reported cases and no one has been arrested yet.
