The Community Policing Forum (CPF) apprehended two suspects who allegedly stole a plasma television on 18 March.
Mr Charles Msibi of the CPF said both suspect are still in police custody.
According to the CPF, the owner of the television is renting a room from where it was stolen.
They said she went inside the main house when the incident occurred.
The CPF also said the complainant did not lock the door, but closed it and discovered that her television was missing when she entered the room.
The theft occurred in eSimendeni Section in Sakhile.
The television has not been recovered.
