Not enough evidence in land invasion case

The court said there is not enough evidence to constitute a criminal case.

The Economic Freedom Fighters are intending to open a case against the eMbalenhle Police Station for wrongful arrest and defamation.
This came after the Evander Magistrates Court ordered the police to continue with the case against Mr John Mahlangu of land invasion.
The case was opened by the Govan Mbeki Municipality.
The court said there is not enough evidence to constitute a criminal case.
EFF members wearing red t-shirts, written “Land is our a priority”, showed up at court to support Mr Mahlangu.
Mr Mahlangu said it proves that there was no case from the beginning, but that police were used by politicians to arrest him.
The EFF is currently having a celebration at Azania were they illegally invaded land.
