
A 33-year-old man was arrested on Friday, 31 March during a disruptive joint operation by members of Secunda OCU, Secunda SANAB, Secunda CI and Secunda K9.
The team followed up on information regarding drug dealing which lead them to a house in Kingfisher Street in Kriel.
The suspect was found in possession of 62,5 grams of Cat, two packets of dagga, two scales , 16 cell phones and 150 bags to the value of R51,000 .
This were found in the fridge.
During the initial investigation, the team discovered human hair and blood stains inside the vehicle of the suspect.
It is suspected it could be that of the victim who was murdered in Kriel last week. The suspect was arrested and charged with dealing in drugs. The
local Criminal Record Centre is investigating to determine if the blood stains and human hair found in the vehicle belongs to the victim.
The suspect will appear at the Kriel Magistrate Court on Monday, 3 April.
