BREAKING NEWS: Residents block off R23 Road between Standerton and Greylingstad

Angry Ward 15 residents blocked off the R23 Road between Standerton and Greylingstad with stones and burning tyres earlier today.

According to Capt Fanie Nhlabathi, communications officer for the Standerton Police, the residents claim that they were promised jobs for the new project of upgrading the road, but to no avail.

The Standerton Police are currently on the scene monitoring the situation.
