The men allegedly showed the CPF where they hid the sheep

The Community Policing Forum (CPF) apprehended two men on 21 April who allegedly stole a sheep.

According to the CPF, the men allegedly stole the sheep at the auction grounds on 20 April.

They apparently tried to hide it near the bridge in Burger Street.

“Community members saw them and informed us,” Mr Charles Msibi of the CPF said.

The CPF saw two men in that area and questioned them.

The suspects allegedly showed the CPF where they hid the animal and the CPF notified the Stock Theft Unit, who took the sheep.

The men were arrested and case of stock theft was opened.

The CPF thanked Kasselman Security Services for their assistance and urged the community to report illegal activities.
