Another suspect who escaped from the Secunda Police Station holding cells has been rearrested.
Mr Fanyana Jiyane was recaptured by police on Tuesday, 18 April and was charged.
He was initially being arrested for rape and common robbery before he escaped from custody.
He is one of five trial awaiting suspects who escaped from the Secunda Police Station holding cells in March.
It is alleged that they used a saw to escape.
