Vandals ‘red-faced’ Mr Linda Dhalamini when red paint was used on municipal boards in front of the Lekwa municipal building on 24 May.
It is unclear who is responsible at this stage.
The Standerton Advertiser contacted Ms Thobeka Mtshiselwa, communications manager of the Lekwa Municipality, but she was on leave at the time, comment will be sought as soon as she is back in office.
