11-year-old local girl appears in first advertisement on television

Shalom Nyandiko-Joseph from Secunda is only 11 years old and has already appeared in her first advertisement on television.

She registered with a modelling agency in Johannesburg in 2016 and the advertisement that she appeared in ran on national television for about a year.

This advertisement is still being broadcast in countries in East Africa.

Shalom described it as a wonderful experience and would love to appear on television again.
