Bantu Black makes a name in modelling and fashion industry

Born and bred in eMbalenhle and being inspired by the international award winning DJ Black Coffee and the late black consciousness activist and politician, Bantu Steve Biko, he decided to combine the two names and make it his brand.

Bantu Black has made a name for himself in the modelling and fashion industry.

Born and bred in eMbalenhle and being inspired by the international award winning DJ Black Coffee and the late black consciousness activist and politician, Bantu Steve Biko, he decided to combine the two names and make it his brand.

He is the only child of the late Mr Victor Nkambule and his mother, Ms Lizzy Nkambule.

Bantu Black’s love for fashion began at a young age, however his parents could not afford to buy him what he wanted.

He decided to make his own clothes after matric and altered his clothes and redesigned them to fit his own style.
