Car crashes into wall at Whispering Wings on N17 highway after tyre burst

Three people sustained slight injuries in an accident near Piekspruit on the N17 highway between Bethal and Trichardt this morning, 22 January.

They were travelling from Bethal towards Trichardt. According to Jaco Horn from GTR, the driver of the VW Polo allegedly loss control of the vehicle when a tyre burst, causing the vehicle to swerve across the road and into a wall at Whispering Wings.

ER24 transported the injured to Bethal Hospital. A fourth occupant of the car was unharmed.
