Standerton-born author launches first book

Mr Roger Thokozani Mkhondwane (21) held the launch of his first book, Developing a Destiny Mindset, on 6 December last year.

The Standerton-born author and conference speaker who has been in public speaking for five years, began writing the book three years ago.

He is also the founder of the Leadership 101 programme, aimed at inspiring young adults to a better future.

“The writing process took a while and was tough, but a great learning curve,” Mr Mkhondwane said.

He was born on 22 March 1996 to Ms Kelly and Mr Bongani Mkhondwane, both residents of Standerton.

The book is based largely on his life experience intertwined with God’s Word.

“I am young, but God in me is larger than life,” he said to those who might question his age.
