13 injured in single taxi accident in Leandra

Thirteen people sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate after the taxi they were travelling in rolled on the N17 highway at the Leandra Toll Plaza in Mpumalanga yesterday afternoon.

When ER24 paramedics arrived at approximately 4.15pm, they found a taxi lying off the road on its side.

Most of the passengers were sitting on the ground.

ER24, as well as other medical services on the scene, transported the patients to hospital for further medical care.

The cause of the accident is still unknown.
