Secunda beauty with brains and a big heart for children will represent SA in India

This blonde who was born and bred in Secunda, is representing South Africa at the Magnificent Women International (MWI) Southern Africa Beauty contest in Mumbai, India in mid-February.

Ms Joanita Visser (20) is a beauty with brains and a big heart for children.

This blonde who was born and bred in Secunda, is representing South Africa at the Magnificent Women International (MWI) Southern Africa Beauty contest in Mumbai, India in mid-February.

She is leaving for India on 18 February and will return on 25 February.

Ms Visser is a third year student at the University of Northwest where she is studying B.ED and aims at completing her masters degree in child psychology.

Ms Venter is a former Hoërskool Secunda learner.

She has worn the crown as “Mej. Sprankel” and Miss Highveld Youth and has even represented South Africa at a contest in America.

Her mother described Ms Venter as a bit of a tomboy with a calling to make a difference in the lives of others.
