Lianna Singh of Stanwest Combined School obtained five distinctions in her 2017 matric results.

The learner from Standerton received distinctions in English (first language: 82%), Afrikaans (additional language: 82%), Life Orientation (90%), Computer and Applied Technology (86%) and Life Sciences (80%).
