Local businessmen and -women were locked in a meeting with Tutuka management in Florapark, Standerton on 14 February.

The meeting was to resolve the issues that led to local businesses protesting at Tutuka Power Station on 7, 8 and 14 February.

The businessmen barricaded both main entrances in an effort to get management to agree to their terms.

Lack of opportunities offered to local businesses is one of their grievances.

Mr Jabulani Mavimbela, General Manager, was present to answer all questions.
