Thabang Sibiya (12) was born with cerebral palsy, a developmental disability, and his only means of getting around, was to hold onto a trolley.
His life however has changed when Mr Friday Nkosi has donated a wheelchair.
Thabang is unable to properly walk, talk and eat and is cared for by his sister, Ms Gugu Ndlovu, after their mother’s death in 2013.
Due to monthly expenses, Ms Ndlovu could not afford to buy a wheelchair.
Thabang’s plight was published in the Echo on Friday,16 February.
