Vehicle overturning in Meyerville leaves one dead and one injured

The driver was declared dead on the scene.

After a vehicle overturned on the Meyerville bridge curve on 1 March, one man was killed and another injured.

“The accident happened at about midnight,” Capt Fanie Nhlabathi, communications officer of the Standerton Police, said.

According to Capt Nhlabathi, the car was coming into Standerton when the man apparently lost control of the vehicle.

It is understood that the men were from Perdekop.

The driver was declared dead on the scene.
