Financial guru says women must strive for financial freedom

Your salary won’t make you rich, but your spending habits will.

Ronel Jooste, financial guru, was the guest speaker at the first Secunda branch meeting of the South African Council of Businesswomen (SACBW) of the year.

The event was held on Thursday night, 22 February and was also attended by Ms Melinda Stark, national CEO of the SACBW.

She said the council is celebrating its 30th birthday this year by re-engineering the council and by focusing more on the members.

Ms Jooste, a chartered accountant, financial coach, blogger for Finesse magazine and owner of PhysEQFiT Guesthouse and Wellness Retreat in Centurion, said women generally want health and happiness, success and financial stability.

These have different meanings and measuring tools that vary from person to person.
