SECUNDA – Seven-year-old Siyabonga Skhosana’s family and friends were shocked by his death on Saturday, 3 March.
This Grade 2 learner from Secunda Christian Academy had a heart attack at his eMbalenhle home on 28 February.
According to his mother, Ms Mbali Mahlangu, he was rushed to Mediclinic Highveld in Trichardt where he was admitted to the ICU.
Ms Mahlangu said Siyabonga suffered from severe asthma and low muscle tone that made it difficult for him to walk, but she never expected heart problems.
“I am very shocked. He was my only child, my little angel sent from God,” she said.
Siyabonga was described as a happy and courageous child. “I am going to miss him so much,” said Ms Mahlangu.
