Secunda senior citizens enjoy lunch at 40 year celebration

Some members of club have been members for more than 25 years.

Members of the Secunda Senior Citizens’ Club celebrated the club’s 40th year of existence on Wednesday, 28 February.

The club was formed in 1978 and has walked a road with the St Peters United Church since 1979.

Some of the current members of the club have been part of the club for more than 25 years.

The members enjoyed lunch and spoke about the early years of the club.

Their next meeting is on Wednesday, 14 March when they will have a hobo day and dress up as hobo’s.

It begins at 10am at Davies Court and all senior citizens are welcome.
