Evander Hospital hosts an open day

An informative day for community at the Evander Hospital open day

EVANDER – The community was invited to an open day at Evander Hospital on Friday, 16 March.

The purpose was to inform the community of the services that the hospital provides and the procedures to follow before you go to the hospital.

The community was urged to first visit the clinic.

Mr Jantije Aphane, CEO of Evander Hospital, said: “The hospital belongs to the community and is there to address the needs of the community,” he said.

Various stalls were set up to provide visitors with information and answers to questions.

The Evander Hospital choir kept the attendees entertained and a short role play highlighted the importance of treating hospital staff and patients with respect and methods to resolve conflict.

Mr Thabo Maphanga from the Evander Clinic committee spoke about the appointment and booking system at the clinic to help avoid queuing since early morning.
