The driver of the Picanto apparently tried to avoid the accident, but collided with a tree.
A driver of a Kia Picanto swerved to avoid an accident and hit a tree in Beyers Naude street on 3 April.
According to police, the driver had just passed the robot, heading towards town when a Toyota Corrolla allegedly jumped a stop street.
