[PHOTO’S] Flames destroy bar in Brendan Village

The Secunda Police Canine Unit’s fire investigation dog was on the scene today.

EVANDER – The bar at Brendan Village burned down on Saturday, 28 April.

The fire erupted in the afternoon. Although the outer building is still standing, the inside was destroyed in the inferno.

A source close to the investigation estimated the damage at anywhere between R500 000 and R1-m.

It appears that the fire was caused by an electrical fault.

The Secunda Police Canine Unit’s fire investigation dog was on the scene today, 29 April.
