VIDEO: Protesters barricade R23 and demand answers from Transnet or the Lekwa Municipality

Residents of Wards 3, 9 and 15 in Sakhile gathered and barricaded the R23 because of a Transnet project that apparently began in Standerton on 7 May.

According to them, the way the appointments were done, is questionable.

They said the road will remain closed until Transnet or the municipality speaks to them.
