HIGVELD – Govan Mbeki Municipality has obtained a court order to prohibit Eskom from implementing the bulk power cuts.
Eskom issued a notice that it would implement bulk power interruptions from Monday, 21 May.

Ms Thandi Ngxonono, executive mayor, said Council was not happy with Eskom’s billing system.
She urged residents to pay their rates and taxes so Council can continue to pay Eskom.
