Man killed in industrial accident in Bethal

BETHAL – A man, believed to be in his 40s, was killed this morning in an industrial accident in Bethal.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene at 7.51am to find the man lying on the ground between an excavator and another large industrial machine.
Bethal EMS was assessing the patient on the scene.
The man sustained numerous injuries and was in a critical condition.
Treatment and advanced life support interventions were immediately initiated in an effort to stabilise the patient.
He however succumbed to his injuries and was declared dead.
