Man saves scared boy on R23, regardless of his own safety

Mr Robert Maseko, travelling from Johannesburg, saw a little boy standing in the middle of the road when entering Standerton on 4 July about 7.30pm.

He immediately stopped his vehicle and grabbed the mute child out out harm’s way as there were oncoming traffic.

Mr Maseko contacted #IAM and Mr Louis Thabethe, co-founder of the organisation, met them at the Sakhile Police Station.

The boy was reunited with his frantic parents who had opened a missing child report at the station.
