On 9 July a man was found with multiple stab wounds on the Amersfoort gravel road and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) on the scene declared him dead.
The police found a knife, screwdriver, broken bottle and a piece of electrical cord.

The deceased was wearing green Adidas tracksuit-pants, a dark green t-shirt and white cap.
No shoes, cell phone or identification were found on the scene.
According to Capt Fanie Nhlabathi, spokesman of the Standerton Police, the victim had a burn mark to the lower left leg and he had a silver tooth.
