BETHAL – A 21-year-suspect was arrested for house robbery and attempted murder.
This came after police received a complaint about a house robbery in Naude Street.
On arrival, they found a man lying on the floor bleeding and he informed them that two men with firearms entered his home while he was with his brother and demanded money from them.
The victim was shot in the thigh. He was taken to Bethal Hospital for medical assistance.
The suspects stole R6 000 and a cell phone to the value of R600.
The suspect will appear in the Bethal Magistrate’s Court soon.
