Precious Martina Molomo needs votes to become Miss Africa
Precious Molomo is a finalist in the Miss Africa pageant.
EVANDER – Ms Precious Martina Molomo wants to bring the Miss Africa crown home.
This 25-year-old was born and bred in Evander and is a finalist in the Miss Africa Pageant.
Winning the Miss Africa title can help her fulfill her dream of reaching out to the youth and to educate them about various life issues.
Ms Molomo went to Laerskool Kinross and attended a few years at Hoërskool Secunda.
She got a bursary to study at Hoërskool Waterkloof in Grade 10 and completed her matric there.
She is passionate about working with young people.
“My passion for the youth began at a very young age when I was elected a prefect.
“That taught me to be very responsible and understand people’s needs.
“I was also a youth leader in my church.
“These leadership role helped me to be dedicated in all that I do so I can lead by example.
“I am glad that I managed to do that as I was always a top student in both primary and high school.”
Ms Molomo aspires to reach out to young people and help them where she can.
She said young people in Africa need more life skills, especially how to prepare for adulthood.
According to her, said many African children are poverty-stricken, are orphans and some are from child-headed homes.
Ms Molomo has made it her mission to help these kids if she wins the Miss Africa title which is about reaching out and giving back to the community.
“I am where I am because of people have helped me and I strongly feel that I should also help others.
“I therefore humbly request people to vote for me so I can win this pageant.
“Should I win and be crowned Miss Africa, the rest of the world will be reminded that there is great potential and talent in the Highveld region.
“Because I will be representing my country internationally.”
