Insurance company approves claim after house burns down in Meyerville

A house in Meyerville was engulfed in flames on 6 June and despite the efforts of the Standerton Fire Brigade and community members, it could not be saved.

Mr Josiah Mabena, the home owner said after this horrible ordeal his family went through, they are truly blessed to live in Standerton.

He added that this is a community that can stand together, no matter what.

The Mabena family received a positive message that the insurance approved their claim and that by the end of October they can move back to their house.
